In the last 24 hours, 242 cases of coronavirus were registered in Venezuela and four people died after contracting the disease.

This was announced on the night of this Monday, July 13, the vice president of Nicol?s Maduro, Delcy Rodr?guez.

With the report, the country reaches 9,707 coronavirus infections and 93 deaths.

In a telephone contact with VTV, the official detailed that 193 cases of community transmission and 49 imported cases were reported.
COVID-19 deaths

The Maduro vice president said that in the last hours three people died in Zulia, linked to the focus of the Las Pulgas Market.

They were: a 67-year-old man, another 52-year-old man who was an active member of the National Armed Forces and a 63-year-old woman. All residents of the Maracaibo municipality.

A fourth man, 59 years old, died in Ure?a, T?chira state. According to Rodr?guez, after having contact with cases that come from Colombia.

Community cases

Due to a growth in infections in the Capital District and Miranda, the Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 proposed to Maduro that both entities be immediately raised to level 1 of the radical quarantine.

Venezuela registers 303 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, of which 93% are from Miranda and the Capital District

A total of 281 cases of community transmission of Covid-19 and 22 imported were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities to bring the total number of infections to 10,010.

The information was released this Tuesday by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicol?s Maduro, during a working day for the third anniversary of the National Humanized Childbirth Plan, where he specified that of the total number of community cases registered in the last hours, the 93 percent correspond to Miranda and the Capital District.

Regarding community cases, he specified:

Miranda: 56 new cases, of which 16 are from Baruta, 9 from Petare, 7 from Ocumare del Tuy, 5 from Guatire, 3 from Charallave, 3 from C?a, 2 from Santa Teresa, 1 from Caucagua, 1 from Higuerote, 1 from El Hatillo.
Capital District: 42 new cases, of which 6 are from El Valle parish, 4 from Coche parish, 4 from Altagracia, 3 from San Agust?n, 3 from San Juan, 3 from Sucre (Catia), 3 from El Para?so , 2 from San Jos?, 2 from El Junquito, 1 from Santa Rosal?a, 1 from Ant?mano, 1 from Caricuao, 1 from San Pedro, 1 from January 23 and 7 residents of the Miranda state captured in the capital.
Zulia: 35 new cases, of which 21 are linked to the outbreak registered in the Las Pulgas Market in the central helmet of Maracaibo and 14 of municipalities outside the central helmet.
Carabobo: 23 new cases, of which 5 are from Libertador, 4 from Valencia, 3 from Guig?e, 3 from Puerto Cabello, 2 from Guacara, 2 from Mor?n, 2 from Naguanagua and 2 from Los Guayos.

Regarding imported cases, he specified that 18 correspond to compatriots who arrived from Colombia, 2 from Brazil.

In Miranda 889 cases have been registered, 297 recovered, 585 active cases, all hospitalized and attended, as well as 7 deceased.

In Zulia, 2,144 cases have been registered, 141 recovered, 1,966 active and 37 deceased.

Venezuela exceeds 100 deaths from COVID-19 and reaches 10,854 infections

Caracas, Jul 15 (EFE) .- Four Venezuelans died from COVID-19 and 426 were infected in the last 24 hours, with which there are already 104 people who have died from this disease, of which 10,854 cases have been registered in the country, Vice President Jorge Rodr?guez reported this Thursday.
Among the deceased is a 57-year-old woman in the northwestern state of Zulia (bordering Colombia), who suffered from high blood pressure, as well as three men residing in Caracas.
Of the three males, one was from the Guarico state, near the capital, and had tested negative in a first rapid test. The other two lived in the popular sector of Catia, an area with a wide commercial life and where very few people have made a total quarantine, since they earn enough money during the day to survive.
Among those infected, there are 345 cases of community transmission and 81 "imported" by returned migrants.

Rodr?guez explained that of the 10,854 cases, 3,255, "are fully recovered," which is about 30%.
Of the rest, 99% are admitted to public medical centers and 87 (1%) in private clinics. Of these, 23 people are in intensive care units with acute respiratory failure.
The vice president also reiterated that 78% of all cases are people under the age of 49 and "the vast majority of cases are between the ages of 19 and 39."
This Thursday, the opposition deputy Jos? Manuel Olivares, a doctor residing in Colombia, denounced that in Venezuela there have been 72 more deaths from COVID-19 that have not been reported by the Government of Nicol?s Maduro.
He also detailed that one out of every five deceased in Venezuela was a health worker. Among them are a paramedic, two nurses, and 19 doctors.

Caracas was going to experience a reopening period this week for ten economic sectors, like the neighboring state of Miranda, which houses a large part of its metropolitan area, but the decision was finally reversed and that period was reduced to just 72 hours.

The three who died in the last 24 hours are a 63-year-old man from Caracas, another 38 from Zulia and one of the same age in Anzo?tegui.

Among those infected are 20 "seriously ill" patients who are admitted to intensive care units, 17 who have moderate symptoms, 624 mild and 6,571 are asymptomatic.

A total of 396 cases of community transmission of Covid-19, 11 imported and 1 by contact with international travelers were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities to bring the total number of infections to 11,891.

The vice president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodr?guez, announced on Monday that during the last hours there were four deaths from coronavirus and another 443 infections, bringing the total number of deaths to 116 and the number of cases nationwide to 12,334.

A total of 453 new cases of community transmission of COVID-19 and another 72 imported ones were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities, to reach 15,988 patients, of whom 9,959 are recovered, for which Venezuela holds a percentage of recovery above the active cases of contagion of the coronavirus.

The information was released this Monday by the sectoral vice president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodr?guez, after concluding the meeting of the Presidential Commission for Control and Prevention of COVID-19.

The official reported the statistical figures of the day:

On day 134 of quarantine, a total of 525 confirmed cases are recorded.

Of the total accumulated to date (15,988 cases), 5,883 are as active patients and 9,959 are fully recovered, which represents 62%.

Capital District registers 279 of the 664 community cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours

Miraflores Palace, Caracas.- Of the 664 community cases of COVID-19 registered this Friday, 279 are distributed in the 22 parishes of the Capital District. Another 51 infections are international, thus adding 715 new infections.

The balance was made by the President of the Republic, Nicol?s Maduro, who detailed that the affected areas are El Valle (61), Sucre (33), Altagracia (20), Coche and Ant?mano (14), La Pastora (11), San Juan (10), Catedral and El Para?so (8), Caricuao, La Vega, San Bernardino, San Jos? and Santa Rosal?a (7), San Pedro and El Recreo (6), Santa Teresa (5), La Candelaria and El Junquito (4), Macarao (3), January 23 and San Agust?n (1).

The rest of the community cases are distributed among the states Miranda (79), La Guaira (69), Zulia (58), Carabobo (40), M?rida (39), Anzo?tegui (21), Apure (17), Portuguesa (16) , Monagas (13), Bol?var (11), Trujillo and Sucre (6), T?chira and Aragua (4) and Lara (2).

International infections come from Colombia (46), Peru (4) and Ecuador (1). Thus, Venezuela adds 18,574 COVID-19 cases, of which 10,837 are fully recovered.

Of 7 thousand 573 active infections, 5 thousand 769 remain in hospitals, 1,640 in Comprehensive Diagnosis Centers (CDI) and 164 in private clinics. Meanwhile, the death rate increased to 164 when six new deaths were registered in Carabobo (1), Capital District, Sucre and M?rida.
