    LESS THAN 5 MONTHS Moquegua DIES IN CASE OF POSSIBLE BY SWINE FLU

    One child under 5 months old just died this morning in the city of Moquegua, after presenting a strong picture of influenza, doctors do not rule out that it was the flu AH1N1 also known as swine flu.

    Averaging 7 am Mrs Sara Chata child's mother came to the hospital in Moquegua, seeking attention, however, the baby had already died. Says the mother, the baby of 5 months Chata Luis Miguel Duran showed symptoms of the flu since last Monday and received treatment at the Health Center San Antonio.

    However, the baby continued with fever and complications with the passing of the days got worse, causing his death.

    Dr. Juan Barreda, director of epidemiology in the area, explained that they have taken the samples will be sent to Lima, and within 5 days to confirm the results would be if the baby's death was caused by a seasonal flu or whether it would be the flu AH1N1

    We also commented that there are 3 more suspected cases of swine flu that are being evaluated and are awaiting the results.

    Finally he urged the population to make them aware about the disease than those treated within 48 hours of presenting symptoms is totally treatable.
