    In the last 3 weeks 5 cases of this virus have registered in the province
    The Department of Public Health of Ecuador confirmed the decease of a 52-year-old citizen with the virus AH1N1, also acquaintance as porcine flu, in the province of Manab?. Nevertheless, it becomes clear that as cause of his decease there were other illnesses. Moral Melva, in charge of the area of alertness of the health of the zonal coordination of the MSP, he told that the victim died with the flu, but it had hypertension and diabeteses that were not controlled appropriately.




    The official highlighted that the death takes place ? with H1N1 and not for H1N1 ? it, on having indicated that this complaint can have major effects in patients that for one or another reason is presented by illnesses that have his organism affected.

    The official added that including the case of the death, five cases of this flu have registered in the last three weeks in the province: three in Blanket, one in Montecristi and one in Portoviejo.

    Two of the patients meet in intensive therapy artificial respirators and two remain under strict care also in houses of health.

    The official said that in 2012 there were approximately four cases, for 2013 one, 2014 three, and last year three.
