    Eight dead, 300 infected and schools closed as virus spreads in Tarapac? Region.

    Eight people have died and 300 more are infected following an influenza outbreak in northern Chile which continues to spread.

    People with special risk factors and those who are working in public services are being targeted vaccinations as influenza sweeps northern Chile.

    Local health officials called on residents to make sure they have been vaccinated against influenza and to take measures to avoid infection...

    Government decrees health alert in Tarapac? to prevent spread of H1N1

    The Minister of health, Jaime Ma?alich, who on this day moved up to that place, where reported that all the people who attend the event will have to be vaccinated compulsorily, otherwise can not access the town of Pozo Almonte, where held.
