    According to the final report delivered by the Seremi of Health Region of Antofagasta in this morning were confirmed three new cases of influenza A H1N1.       Seremi de Salud confirms second death of patient with influenza A H1N1

      “Este caso corresponde a una mujer de 54 años –que ingresó a la Unidad de Emergencia del Hospital Regional de Antofagasta el 18 de junio por una Infección Respiratoria Aguda (IRA)- cuya causa de muerte, de acuerdo a los antecedentes notificados a esta autoridad sanitaria, se debió a insuficiencia respiratoria aguda, neumonía adquirida en la comunidad (NAC) producto de la presencia del virus de la influenza A H1N1 y una crisis hipertensiva severa”, precisó la autoridad.
