    Belo Horizonte signs first death due to H1N1 flu in 2019

    The cold season is near Minas Gerais. And, next to her, an alert: the increase of flu cases. The state has registered, until this Tuesday, 456 cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), 13 being caused by influenza and 31 by other respiratory viruses. H1N1, the same that caused the worldwide epidemic of swine flu in 2009, predominates. One person died in Belo Horizonte after contracting the virus. One way to prevent and mitigate viruses is through vaccination. Doses are available to the target public at all basic health units.

    Man dies of H1N1 in Campo Belo; health investigates 3 more suspected cases

    The City of Campo Belo (MG) confirmed, on Thursday (23), the death of a 54-year-old man who was a victim of the H1N1 flu virus. This is the first case of this disease in the South of Minas this year, considering the last bulletin of the State. According to the Municipal Health Department, three other patients with suspected illness are under treatment in the city, among them a child.

      H1N1 has killed four people in Minas this year

      Influenza deaths increased in Minas Gerais. Data from the State Department of Health (SES / MG) show that four people lost their lives this year after contracting the H1N1 virus.         State confirms first death by Influenza in Uberl?ndia in 2019

        The first death due to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) for Influenza A (H1N1) in Uberl?ndia in 2019 was confirmed by the Minas Gerais State Health Department (SES-MG), through the Flu Epidemiological Bulletin published on Monday (10). In the municipality there is also the confirmation of a case of seasonal influenza A / H3. The G1 requested the positioning of the Municipal Health Department and the Regional Health Superintendency (SRS) of Uberl?ndia on the cases. In the Tri?ngulo Mineiro, there are two confirmations of cases of Influenza A in the city of Fronteira, already disclosed in the bulletin of May 24. In Minas Gerais, 1,354 cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS hospitalized) have been reported so far, 248 of which have already been processed.           Bulletin points to 3rd death due to Influenza A in Zona da Mata in 2019

          The Zona da Mata region recorded the third death due to Influenza A in 2019. The case occurred in the municipality of Leopoldina. The information was disclosed on Monday (10), in the epidemiological bulletin of the Minas Gerais State Health Department (SES-MG). According to the State, the case was reported as seasonal A / H3, evolving to death. No data were disclosed of the victim, such as name, age, sex and the hospital where he was hospitalized in the municipality on the day of death.             Influenza deaths reach 23 in Minas Gerais

              Alderman of Campestre, F?bio Borges Rugan dies at age 58

              The councilman of Campestre (MG) F?bio Borges Rugani, 58, died last Saturday (29) at Hospital Santa L?cia in Po?os de Caldas (MG).                 Influenza deaths jump to 34 in Minas

                The lives lost in Minas Gerais due to the Influenza virus do not stop increasing. In a bulletin released on Monday (8), the State Department of Health reported that 34 people died of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) caused by the microorganism, while 169 were already infected. The number of cases arrives from SRAG reaches 410 in the state, being 169 connected to the Influenza and 241 to other respiratory viruses.


                In comparison with the previous survey, released on the 26th, the number of deaths due to Influenza increased 47.8% in Minas Gerais. In that study were 23 deaths caused by the virus.


                The cases also increased, a percentage jump of 27%. They went from 133 on June 26 to 169 on Monday.

                      Second death for H1N1 in Uberl?ndia

                      Uberl?ndia recorded another case of death due to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), subtype Influenza A (H1N1). The information is from the State Department of Health of Minas Gerais (SES-MG). This is the second death from the disease in the city, which already registers 11 patients confirmed with the virus.

                      In the Health Region, which includes Uberl?ndia and 17 other municipalities, there are 164 cases of confirmed SARS, 11 for the H1N1 virus (3 deaths in the region, 2 in Uberl?ndia), 2 H3N2 and 1 non influenza. The remainder refers to other respiratory viruses.

                        Influenza virus has killed 53 people in Minas Gerais, 12 in Belo Horizonte

The city now has five deaths from the disease in 2019. The city has 25 cases of influenza recorded that year. Information was released in the flu epidemiological bulletin published yesterday.
