Number of deaths per H1N1 in Bahia is already five times greater than in 2017

In just four months, the H1N1 virus has killed 11 people in Bahia. The situation is much more serious than last year when, throughout 2017, two people died as a result of this variation of influenza here. The data were released yesterday by the Secretariat of Health of the State of Bahia (Sesab) and, although the portfolio is not so, there are experts who say that Bahia already lives an epidemic of the disease. This is what the Ana Paula Alc?ntara infectologist defends. "An epidemic means an increase in the number of cases compared to the same number as in the previous year. So when you look at last year and now, you see gravity in that context, "he says. Sought, Sesab said there is no epidemic in Bahia.
