    City hall confirms fourth death due to H1N1 flu in Itu


    It was confirmed by the Itu Prefecture the fourth death by H1N1 Influenza - a variation of the common flu - in the city. The victim was a 70-year-old man who died on July 6. With this registry, Itu adds four deaths in nine confirmed cases in the municipality. The Periscope reported in the June 27 issue of the journal, confirming three deaths from the H1N1 flu, two men (one with 30 and the other with 53 years) and one woman (83 years). According to the City Hall, the suspected cases reported in Basic Health Units (BHUs) or in the Municipal Emergency Service (PAM) are sent to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA), which requests hospitalization via the State Government.
