    The Minister of health, Juan Carlos Calvimontes, confirmed the fifth person who died in the Department of La Paz, this time as a result of the influenza type B. The four previous deaths were influenza A/H3N2. It also reported the importation of more vaccines to counteract this evil.

    In terms of influenza A/H3N2, Calvimontes reported 105 confirmed cases and five deaths are: four as a result of influenza A/H3N2, diseases, three in the city of El Alto and two in La Paz, of which one contracted influenza type B. 'In the latter case, the victim had chronic heart disease', according to press release of the Ministry of health. The departmental service of health (Headquarters) still not informed regarding the number of vaccines that are still. 'We don't yet have the report on the stock of vaccines, but yes we are taking the forecast to purchase more vaccines to meet the demand,' said the authority.
