    Peace-two female persons are the first fatal victims of the seasonal influenza A H3N2 in the city altena, said Wilfredo D?az, director of the Epidemiology Unit of the health (beings) of El Alto Regional Service today.

    Diaz, in a telephone contact with the ERBOL network, said that the two cases were confirmed in laboratory . Said that the first victim is 64 years old and died at the sacred heart hospital, the second death occurred in the hospital Bolivian Dutch, where a 19-year-old girl was admitted to the final stage of the disease.

    Hugo Borda, director of the Dutch Bolivian Hospital, said that last week he entered the young man of 19 years with a disease of severe pneumonia, but 'what is serious is that this young girl already had been two weeks earlier with this (illness) at home, then already came to the hospital in a situation very difficult and near-terminal'.

    Pedro Mamani, director of the Regional health service in the high, adding that the H3N2, unlike H1N1, is 'more aggressive' and rapid evolution. Borda noted that common symptoms are fever, muscle pain, cough, decay and generalized malaise.

    The dreaded H3N2 flu kills three women in El Alto

    Three deaths were reported in the city of El Alto because of influenza H3N2, a mutation of the H1N1 virus, but health authorities say that the disease can be prevented with the application of the influenza vaccine.The director of epidemiology of the departmental service of health (Headquarters) peace, Ren? Barrientos, reported the deaths of three women, a 65-year-old, another 19 and the last of 82 years. In all cases they had underlying pathologies.He explained that the 65-year-old lady died in the heart of Jesus hospital, while the young girl of 19 and another woman of 82, in the Bolivian Dutch hospital; all had an underlying disease and arrived in poor condition.He added that the first came for medical help because he had multiple organ failure, the second with a cardiac pathology and the third with a neurological disease, who died 5th of this month.Also the Chief of epidemiology of the La Paz headquarters, said that the population must not be cleaned to unnecessary risks because 'it is a preventable disease. The most vulnerable are children under one year and older than 65, that should go to get the vaccine to prevent the disease.

      SEDES ecorded the fifth died from influenza H3N2

      The laboratory of Inlasa, so far, confirmed the fourth death by flu H3N2 in El Alto, a 64-year-old woman, a man of 82, an infant of one month and a 19 year old, which would have been treated in Hospital heart of Jesus and Senkata 79; and a person of 93 years at the Institute of the chest in the city of La Paz, which added five people killed by the disease.

      Despite the latest report of the Regional Service of health (beings) came forward that departmental (Headquarters) health service will conduct an evaluation of the reports recorded in the last hours to certify the case of death by influenza A/H3N2.

      Allegedly, there are 23 cases reported with characteristics of influenza A/H3N2, only in the city of El Alto, but what is most troubling, according to the director of beings, is that pictures of pneumonia in this city rose to more than six thousand cases, aspect that puts at risk the citizens affected by being vulnerable to the disease.
