    This is alarming. If three of his contacts have the same severe illness he did, that this is likely a mutation. Either that, or this isn't H1N1 at all.

        I'm beginning to think you're right - there may have been a mutation, or this might be a different disease completely - I haven't read of any of the "burning lungs" patients being confrimed.

        Either way, the publishing of sequences is urgent.
