Influenza A: There are 439 dead and more than 800 thousand people infected

The data recorded in Argentina were revealed in the last part of the Ministry of Health of the Nation. The report says the trend is decreasing and that the deceased was registered last past Aug. 6. Only four provinces were no fatalities.
The Ministry of Health of the Nation, by Juan Manzur, gave his last report, which said that those killed by influenza A in Argentina totaled 439, while the number of infected reached 811,940 in the week number 32 of the pandemic.
Laboratories responsible for analyzing the samples is 18, provincial and national public and private. They are installed on Capital, Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Cordoba and Mendoza.

The WHO recommended a new way to monitor the pandemic, according to four indicators: trend, intensity, geographical spread and impact on health care services.

According to the Ministry of Health, Argentina reports a widespread geographical dispersion, which means that there are cases in twenty provinces (La Rioja, Catamarca, Formosa Tierra del Fuego and did not have, so far, no death).

The trend in the country is decreasing, as shown by the figures mentioned in the entire country.

The intensity of influenza-like illness is high. That is, as expected according to the time of year, the number of patients affected by influenza A is greater than expected.

The impact on health services is low, which means that the demand in health institutions is not higher than normal levels.

The national health portfolio also reported that within the group of severe patients, those most affected are children under five years. But among the fatalities, the highest percentage was in the group of adults ranging from 50 to 59 years of age.

The date on which more number of patients detected by the influenza virus was between 26 June and 4 July, while the latest data late last August 6
