The address Puno Regional Health reported that so far there are 6 cases of death from pneumonia in children under five years in the highlands.

A total of 14,568 cases of acute respiratory infections and 13,303 cases of pneumonia in children under five years recorded the Regional Health Directorate of Puno as av of the year due to changes in temperature.

This represents a decrease of 8.7% of pneumonia cases compared to 2011, said the director of that institution, Jos? Irigoyen Arbieto.

In addition, the Department of Epidemiology, Health Region also reported that to date there are 6 cases of death from pneumonia in infants. All belong to the Redess of Health of the Province of San Rom?n.
