HUANCAVELICA - The death toll from the wave of cold and pneumonia in Huancavelica and account for 38 so far this year, in addition to 254 severe cases , as reported by the Department of Epidemiology, Emergencies and Disasters at the Regional Health Authority (Diresa) .
Of the total, 7 deaths occurred in children under 5 years, 22 deaths in elderly people and 9 others in people 5 to 60 years. Also reported 430 cases of pneumonia in children under 5 years (265 severe) and 250 cases over 60 years.
And districts with a high incidence of victims was Tintaypunco (Tayacaja) Churcampa, Acobamba Castrovirreyna and Huaytar?.
