    On the other hand, to counter the phenomenon of cold spell, the Diresa declared a "green alert" to all health facilities and initiated the campaign for the promotion and dissemination of preventive measures to cases of IRA's and pneumonia.

    Health regional manager of Arequipa, Hector Flores Hinojosa said the increase represents a change in the numbers of care for children under five years and reached 195 cases in children older than five years 393 cases, representing a total of 588 cases treated, Flores said Hinojosa.
