    Director of Venues, confirms decline IRAs
    According to the report of the Departmental Service of Health in epidemiological week 35 cases of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in the department has decreased, registering 5306 cases, 551 less than the previous week.

    In the last two epidemiological weeks (34 and 35) shows a general decline in the different age groups where the groups most affected are the ages of 1-4 years and 21-59 years.

    Departmental Health Service, continues with the preventive measures especially at school age, one of the most susceptible to this disease.

    According to the latest report on the health department recorded 568 cases in children under 1 year, 1 193 cases in children aged 1-4 years, 481 cases in children under 5-9 years, 800 cases in less than 10-20 years 1413 cases in persons 21-59 years of age and 368 cases older than 60 years later.

    With regard to cases of pneumonia, at the departmental level, there is a considerable decrease of the 111 cases reported, to date there is a rate of 3% does not change the fact that for three weeks.

    Departmental Health Service continues to monitor and prevent the student population at risk, referral hospitals and health centers with the care and training, with the aim of reducing rates of IRAs and possible cases of influenza A-H1N1.
