Bogot?, May 25 (EFE) .- Colombia served two months in quarantine for the coronavirus on Monday, a day in which it added 806 new cases of the disease, for a total of 21,981, while 23 deaths increased to 750 fatalities.

According to the Ministry of Health, 175 of the new cases are in Bogot?, followed by the department of Antioquia, with 141, just the day that Medell?n, its capital, began a pilot test for the reopening of shopping centers after 60 days closed.

Bogot?, May 28 (EFE) .- The COVID-19 pandemic is still uncontainable in Colombia, where on Thursday the authorities confirmed 1,262 new cases, a daily record that brought the number of infected to 25,366, with special incidence in Bogot? and the Caribbean cities of Cartagena and Barranquilla.

The report of the Ministry of Health also includes 19 deceased for a total of 822 deaths in the country.

The numbers on the progression of the disease are constantly increasing and in the last three days the number of infections has exceeded a thousand: 1,022 on Tuesday, 1,101 on Wednesday and 1,262 today.

Covid-19 infections in Colombia are increasing and reach 26,668 cases

Bogot?, May 25 (Sputnik) .- The number of infections of the new coronavirus (causing the covid-19 disease) in Colombia continues to increase and reached 26,668 on Friday, after 1,322 new cases were recorded, the highest record determined so far in a single day, while the number of deaths on the day is 31, for a total of 853.

Bogot? remains the city with the highest number of infections in the entire country since the first case was reported on March 6, and today totals 9,162 cases.

By departments, Atl?ntico (north) leads the list of infections, with 3,424; followed by Valle del Cauca, with 3,083; by Bol?var (north), with 2,845, and by the Amazon (south), with 1,799 cases.

To date, the number of people recovered from covid-19 in Colombia is 6,913, after, according to this day's report, 248 people left the disease behind.

- 82-year-old woman with hypertension, diabetes and obesity in Valle del Cauca.
- 86-year-old woman with cerebrovascular disease and kidney disease in Cundinamarca.
- 67-year-old woman with hypertension and cardiovascular disease in Cartagena.

In 125 cases the comorbidities remain under study, in 58 they were other pathologies and 76 of the deaths did not register comorbidities.

Globally, there are 6,245,352 confirmed cases, 376,427 deaths and 2,705,306 recovered patients. So far, the country most affected by covid-19 is the United States .
