Samoa?s ministry of health has re-enforced public health preventative measures on the country?s ports of entry following the latest H1N1 positive test on a pregnant woman with flu-like symptoms.

A doctor at the National Health Service, Tole?afoa Dr Take Naseri, has made a televised appearance to raise awareness and warned the public to seek medical advice if someone with flu symptoms is getting worse.

The doctor says Samoa has many travellers coming from New Zealand where the H1N1, or swine flu, cases are on the rise again with several resulting in death.
