Papua New Guinea became the second South Pacific islands nation to report a single confirmed case of the infection, after Samoa confirmed its first case Tuesday.
Papua New Guinea Health Secretary Clement Malau told the National newspaper Friday the infected person had recently visited Australia and likely picked up the virus there.
