Papua New Guinea - Mysterious disease kills 8 in Morobe Province
Eight people are alleged to have died from an unknown and mysterious disease in Menyamya district in Morobe Province of which the victims suffered similar symptoms from the illness.
According to hospital reports, they had suffered from severe headaches, joint pains, vomiting and uncomplicated fever and loss of weight and bodily fluids which resulted in their passing.
Health officials say that Menyamya might be at risk of a virus outbreak and the district health authorities are doing everything they can to find out the cause of this sickness and how it can be contained to stop it from spreading to other parts of the province.
