  • UAE: Health officials announce a new coronavirus MERS case in Abu Dhabi - April 11, 2017

    A patient has tested positive for the MERS Coronavirus in Abu Dhabi.
    That?s according to the Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) which has confirmed that it has taken all necessary measures as per standards and recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO).
    HAAD is also coordinating with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and other relevant governmental entities.
    No further details of the patient have been revealed.

Also recommends the use of tissue when coughing or sneezing , cover your mouth and nose , and then disposed of in the waste basket. The ministry also stressed that the public health situation does not worry.
