Cebu City – About 10 people who recently arrived here from Abu Dhabi are currently under quarantine at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) after they were found to be suspected carriers of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-Corona Virus (MERS-CoV).

I think we are going to see a lot more of this as countries around the world increase their airport screening for coronavirus. There might be hundreds temporarily detained for testing in the next few weeks, especially as the contacts of initial contacts are screened.

They are being very cautious and that's a good thing!
