    Sixth case disease Coruna

    The Ministry of Health confirmed the diagnosis of new cases of the syndrome Middle East acute respiratory and known as Corona disease is this case is the sixth of the total cases reported in Oman where he was diagnosed with the previous case in the month of January this year, and this case of a patient in the fifth and the seventy-year-old is suffering from inflammation sharp in the lung and a rise in temperature, and is currently in stable condition and receiving good care in one of the referral hospitals.

    The ministry confirms the continuation of its efforts to monitor and control the disease through effective epidemiological surveillance system in place and the readiness of all referral hospitals to deal with such cases, while the Ministry of Health with other relevant actors proceed with health and preventive action.

    The ministry calls on all segments of the society of citizens and residents alike need their cooperation in order to follow the advice and guidance to effectively contribute to overcome a lot of infections and health problems including respiratory diseases and foremost of which is to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness of hands and follow proper health behaviors when you cough and sneezing.

    Sixth Mers case reported in Oman

    Muscat: A new case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-COV) has been reported taking the total number of cases in the Sultanate to six, Ministry of Health reported.

    "The 75 year old patient is suffering from severe pneumonia and high fever but is in stable condition under observation at a referral hospital," said a Ministry of Health press statement.
