    Tlaxcala Starts the application of vaccines against H1N1 virus

    As a first step in the state of Tlaxcala 709 apply 215 thousand doses of vaccine against human influenza A H1N1 ranging from the most vulnerable are pregnant women, health workers and children from six to 35 months, announced the Ministry of Health the state (SESA).

    The more than 215 thousand doses of vaccine will be distributed among the SESA, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSTE).

    In the absence of local health secretary, Constantino Perez Quiroz who attended the National Health Council, the deputy director of epidemiology at the SESA Mauricio Jose Francisco Garcia started the vaccination campaign which aims to provide protection to vulnerable groups who are health workers, pregnant women, children six to 35 months and people with diabetes, obesity, obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and others.

    He explained that in Tlaxcala 709 apply 215 thousand doses of flu vaccine from the state Department of Health (SESA) with 121 thousand doses 330, Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), 75 thousand 29vacunas, and Security Institute and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) 19 thousand 350 doses.

    The first stage will be vaccinated 5 thousand 376 workers in the health sector in the state, pregnant women who are in the second and third quarter with a total dose of 5 thousand 89.

    It should be noted that Ramirez and Mercedes Elena Flores Galicia with eight four months of gestation, respectively, were the first people to get vaccinated against human influenza AH1N1.
