Eight confirmed cases of influenza A H1N1 in Matamoros

20/12/2010 | Updated at 12:57 pm Matamoros, Tamaulipas .- Out of 261 suspected cases of influenza A H1N1 made in the course of this year, the Sanitary District III has eight confirmed as positive by results of the State Public Health Laboratory revealed V?ctor Garc?a Fuentes.

He stressed that though the population is increasingly made aware of the indications of preventive measures such as sneezing management but particularly the application of the vaccine.
Always sensitive, he says, are children under five years of age and older so we are insisting on the implementation of the three valent vaccine that is against H1N1, H3N2 and type B.
Garc?a Fuentes said that the application of the dose is open to the public but that the priority remains the children, the elderly, health workers, pregnant women and patients with chronic degenerative diseases.
He said that so far in 2010 there has been no deaths from this disease and that the eight confirmed cases are recovered.
