In Tamaulipas have detected 95 cases of H1N1 influenza, more than 300 probable cases have been confirmed, said the director of Prevention and Health Protection, Luis Fernando Garza Frausto.
The state official said that so far there in the state a total of 225 000 doses of vaccine and 75 000 more are expected to prevent this condition, so that have been distributed throughout the state and each medical unit for people attending .
"It is guaranteed throughout the month of December, the supply of these vaccines," said Garza.
He said last year they received in the Ministry of Health two types of vaccines, one for the traditional influenza disease and one for influenza A H1N1, now on the other hand is a single vaccine that meets the two conditions.
He said the priority should be children and elderly being the most vulnerable to contracting this type of disease, and if last year were already vaccinated in this occasion will be a single dose that will require in order to avoid the condition.
"People of all age adults who were applied a dose last year, with a single dose applied in this case is sufficient and that they applied last year will apply two doses," he said.
He called for people to come to different health centers to apply the appropriate dose, even in the holiday season that will focus on hospitals.Tags: None
