    Nuevo Laredo .- The head of the Sanitary District five in the city, Jaime Gutierrez Emilio Serrano, said the number of confirmed cases (269) corresponds to conditions that were detected since April 2009.

    "It is not commonly have been confirmed and suspect cases have decreased considerably, so it is very important that the people do not trust, we continue on alert," he said.

    He said that to prevent cases increase, it is important that people continue to apply the measures of hygiene and vulnerable groups to apply the vaccine against this virus.

    "We still have flu vaccines, priority want them to be applied to people suffering from chronic degenerative diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, alcoholism and smoking, as well as children with asthma and pregnant women," he said.

    He said that unfortunately have had very little response from the public, who have come to different health centers for the vaccine.

    "People get the vaccine if you go, but we have not had much response as expected, because after a while people lose respect for the disease and the public off guard, so we ask them to apply the vaccine" he added.

    He added that this protection will last one year, and it is important that along with the biological implementation of the measures of hygiene, not sharing food or utensils such as spoons, cups, avoid greeting of a kiss or hand if you suspect the disease.
