The state Health Department asked the State Education Ministry to revive health filters that were implemented during the emergency caused by the H1N1 influenza pandemic.

TODAY Tabasco Interviewed by telephone, Graham Secretary Luis Felipe Zapata said that even today in the state have been no cases of cholera.

Zapata Graham warned that there is risk of cholera, but it is latent as every year due to moisture and water flooded during the rainy season, coupled in this case to flooding. These factors conducive, he said, for respiratory infections and vectors (rats, mosquitoes, cockroaches).

It also endorsed the state official so far only been recorded 108 cases of influenza H1N1 and H3N2 influenza 123.

Therefore, Graham Zapata said it will ask the Ministry of Education to revive the fence for health in schools, to prevent possible infection of children with this type of flu.

Thus, the schools would send back home to students who show symptoms of fever, colds and respiratory infections, as was done during the pandemic last year.

The health secretary urged the public to take hygiene measures to contribute to a smaller number of cases, such as: not to attend public places if they have symptoms, descacharrizar, prevent accumulation of water in containers and patios.
