Hermosillo .- The Ministry of Health reported that arrived in Sonora the second batch of 16 thousand 650 doses of vaccines against influenza A (H1N1), to begin its implementation immediately.
The undersecretary of health services the state agency, Dr. Gustavo Antonio Lopez Caballero, said that the biological be distributed through health districts throughout the state.
The state official referred to in this second stage will be vaccinated mothers and guardians of children under six months of childcare staff as well as infants who are between six and 23 months of age.
He said the vaccine will continue to apply to groups that began to be vaccinated during the first phase, which are health personnel and pregnant women.
He added that there is an increase of 65 percent in the targets set for the first phase of vaccination, but did not specify figures.
Lopez Caballero noted that the distribution of vaccine will be done in five stages and a total of 600 thousand will be received 403 doses of biological human influenza, and of those 249 thousand 859 belong to the Ministry of Health.
He added, Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) will receive 309 thousand 519, and the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) have 41 thousand 025 doses.
