Ante la amenaza de un rebrote del virus de influenza humana, en forma imprevista la vida cotidiana y la rutina de miles de familias de Culiac?n se vio trastocada el d?a de ayer, con la suspensi?n de las actividades en las mil 404 escuelas, determinaci?n que dej? sin clases a 266 mil alumnos de todos los niveles. Las actividades escolares se reanudar?n hasta el pr?ximo jueves 17 de septiembre, presuntamente.
                        Asimismo, la alerta sanitaria se extendi? a todas las guarder?as ubicadas en la capital, por lo que el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), indic? que estar?n cerradas tambi?n seis d?as.

                        Por ello, se tuvo que llamar a los padres de familia para que pasaran a recoger a sus hijos que ya los hab?an llevado desde temprano.

                        Seg?n reportes de las autoridades de salud, se tienen detectados m?s de 600 casos de cuadros gripales asociados al virus A (H1N1) entre estudiantes, en un rango de edades de los ocho a 14 a?os.

                        Sin embargo, el secretario de Salud del estado, H?ctor Ponce Ramos, expuso que esta medida no debe alarmar a la poblaci?n, puesto que el creciente caso de pacientes con catarros, tos y temperatura, son cuadros estacionales, que de recibir un tratamiento oportuno, no representar?an riesgo.

                        Por otra parte, el secretario de Salud del estado, Ponce Ramos, precis? que en esta ciudad no se han presentado pacientes con s?ntomas severos, por lo que no hay hospitalizados.

                        Sin embargo, se?al? que con la suspensi?n de clases por seis d?as, se busca romper el ciclo de contagio, sobre todo en las escuelas primarias y secundarias.

                        El funcionario observ? que en las primeras 25 escuelas que durante los tres primeros d?as de esta semana suspendieron clases, se observ? una disminuci?n notable de alumnos contagiados.

                        Al respecto, el jefe de la Jurisdicci?n Sanitaria n?mero Dos, Efra?n Vel?zquez, indic? que en el municipio de Guasave se investigan cinco defunciones de personas mayores de edad, en un lapso de 20 d?as, que fueron reportadas con cuadro gripal agudo.

                        Se inform? que una de las v?ctimas que falleci? supuestamente por el virus de influenza humana en la sindicatura de Juan Jos? R?os, es Karina Garc?a, de 33 a?os, hermana del jefe de la Polic?a Municipal de la ciudad de los Mochis, Genaro Garc?a.

                        No obstante, en las ciudades de Guasave y Sinaloa de Leyva, los directores de una escuela preparatoria de la Universidad Aut?noma de Sinaloa y de una primaria ordenaron tambi?n el cierre de las aulas por espacio de seis d?as, puesto que se han detectado a varios alumnos con cuadros gripales severos.

                            The health sector launched the first phase of vaccination against influenza A H1N1 since 26 November, which envisages to implement more than 11 thousand doses of emergency medical personnel and deal directly with these patients and pregnant women six months of gestation, IMSS, in any stage in the Ministry of Health.
                            H?ctor Ponce Ramos, secretary of health in the state, said there has been a coordinated effort of all and not have overcrowded hospitals or intensive care areas.
                            "We have prepared for the worst, as always, we do not know how we will go in December but there has been a coordinated effort with everyone and we have given a great result in influenza," he said.

                              CULIAC?N .- The rate for children with burns decreased the end of the year at Children's Hospital of Sinaloa, in comparison with previous years, said Carlos Morales Blancarte.
                              HPS director explained that only four infants were burned in December, when on previous occasions, the figure amounted to 20 children affected by fireworks or other substance.
                              "This year we had practically significant numbers. There were four children in all of December, one burned by hot liquid scald; other gasoline and two children by fireworks. The figure had dropped dramatically because previous years in which there are between 20 and 25 children with burns, "he said.
                              Good "dividends" were, he said, because he worked hard on prevention with the society and this raised awareness about the risks of these devices.

                              Blancarte Morales also announced good progress in addressing respiratory diseases, since no recorded cases of suspected influenza A H1N1, pneumonia or bronchiolitis.
                              "As we did not have respiratory disease index rebound. Yes there was a lot of pictures of consultation, but thank God we had no problems with either the flu or pneumonia or bronchiolitis, which every year we were working."
