The Ministry of Health in Quintana Roo confirmed the second death from influenza AH1N1 of the season that began on October 1.The two cases, a 58-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman, had no history of vaccination, but had obstructive pulmonary disease, which complicated the condition.The Federal Directorate General of Epidemiology has confirmed through our studied samples two deaths from influenza in the state. 'The two people who died had no history of vaccination,' said Alejandra Aguirre, secretary of health in Quintana Roo.The Ministry of Health urged the population to participate in the vaccination campaign that started on October 1, but the participation of the population has been low.
