    Morelia, Michoacán. - Three cases of influenza A/H1N1, one of them with the death of the patient and an increase superior to 30 per cent in respiratory sharp illnesses, which are equivalent to 130 thousand patients a month, registered Michoacán in the last three months for the low temperatures, confirmed the secretary of Health, Guadalupe Hernández Alcalá.

    “ Of influenza A/H1N1 have had in Michoacán three cases, unfortunately one of them died, two are like asymptomatic receiving ambulatory treatment ”, he reported.

    The arrival of the cold fronts from October, provoked a descent in the temperature of up to five grades under zero in some zones of Michoacán, which caused that register up to 130 thousand cases of respiratory sharp illnesses a month, principally in minors of age and major adults.

    “ The cases have increased above of 30 per cent in relation to last year; this, clearly it has a direct relation with the appearance of the cold fronts, which in this case have been anticipated. From August we have several and I understand that more than 20 are still absent ”, added the official.
