    The Department of Health Jalisco reported the registration of 92 cases of influenza during the 2018-2019 season and a total of 13 deaths from this disease, with which Jalisco ranks number 20 in terms of the number of cases nationwide. Through a statement the agency explained that in the week of January 28 to February 3, there was one death and eight new cases of influenza, six of them of type AH1N1 and 2 of type A. The death was recorded on January 29 and was a 72-year-old woman who resided in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Z??iga. By the way, 55 percent of the cases are female and the most affected groups are those between 40 and 49 years of age and 60 and over.

    Jalisco registers three new deaths due to influenza

    The Ministry of Health of Jalisco (SSJ) has reported three new deaths due to influenza in the period of the epidemiological week number 8, between 17 and 23 of feberero. The cases are of three women older than 40 years who apparently were not vaccinated. The three women presented influenza AH1N1 and were residents of the municipalities of Arandas, Tlaquepaque and Ixtlahuac?n de los Membrillos. The SSJ also registered 13 new cases of influenza, ten of them of type AH1N1, two of type A and one of type AH3N2. Jalisco ranks 19th in the number of infections nationwide.
