Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos, confirmed the deaths of three pregnant women with the virus of human influenza A (H1N1) in so far this year.

Federal District Health Secretariat (SSA) confirmed two cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) related to the implementation of seasonal influenza vaccine.
Undersecretary for Prevention and Health Promotion, Mauricio Hernandez, reported that so far the agency has identified seven probable cases of the syndrome, of which four occurred in people who received both vaccines against seasonal influenza and influenza A H1N1 and only three people who were immunized against the second.
