The authorities of the secretaries of Education and Health, Federal District, said that the outbreak of influenza A H1N1 in the city was not as expected, so far have not recorded cases of this disease in the capital after students return to class.
Francisco Osuna, Director of Medical Services Ministry of Health of Ontario, said the behavior of influenza A H1N1 has been "very smooth" and has not produced a dramatic rebound as expected.
"We know the subject well and this has influenced so that regrowth is not as shocking as expected. In schools there is a proven case, few of seasonal influenza or colds, "he said.
Mario Carrillo Huerta, Secretary of Education City, said that during the first three days of last week there was a single case of influenza A H1N1 confirmed, as the stronger cold have come on weekends.
They run the "filters"
"We had the slope of regrowth from the cold and the return from holiday, but the filters of the schools were supplemented with filters tacit families were symptoms in their children and better sheltered at home," said Carrillo.
The officials agreed that, in any form, city authorities are unlikely to drop his hands for a possible improvement in the environment and continue the vaccination campaign, first among people who are in contact with potential sources of infection and then vulnerable groups as reported by the capital's health secretary, Francisco Osuna.
