  • Confirmed 56 deaths from Influenza A H1N1 in Distrito Federal

    Mexico, D. F. - The owner of the local Health Department, Armando Ahued reported that there have been 11 deaths in this month by the influenza virus H1N1 and there are 104 cases of the disease reported in the entire health care system of the country's capital. He said that it's not a situation of alarm and there are no data to declare any epidemiological alert, however urged people to protect themselves and apply the vaccine, mainly the groups most vulnerable to this evil. He emphasized that until the last January 23 had registered 156 thousand 220 cases of respiratory infections of different kinds and in the same period the previous year it had 222 thousand 16 cases, which represents 30 per cent higher than the present year.

    17 Deaths due to H1N1


    Mexico City (January 30 2014) .-
    In the year, in the city have died 17 people because of the virus H1N1.Just on Friday, the balance of the Ministry of Health (Sedesa) was 11 killed by this disease, eight men and three women, and 88 infections.

      Six in one day die by influenza A/H1N1 in the DF

      In the Federal District, have been registered so far 23 deaths from 1 January to 29 January 2014 caused by the influenza virus, said the head of the city's government, Miguel ?ngel Mancera, during his press conference. For its part, the Secretary of Health of the Federal District, Armando Ahued, reported that joined six deaths, among them, people suffering from diabetes and obesity, older than 64 years, and that had been previously automedicado. Inside the palace of the Town Hall, the Secretary pointed out that in spite of the figure, the city is calm and the situation is in a "normal expected" .However, stated that the hospitals are located in calm, so there is no overcrowding by cases of influenza.

        The Secretary of Health of the Federal District, Armando Ahued Ortega, informed that to today they add 56 deaths for the virus of the influenza, which means 10 per cent of the whole of of the capital that were contagious. In interview, he told that in whole they add 560 cases of influenza, of which, 453 were of AH1N1, 80 of AH3N2, 17 Type A and 10 of Type B. And of 56 deaths, 53 were for AH1N1 two for AH3N2 and one of Type A. ? We follow in a tendency frankly the casualty, of course we did not love that anybody was dying, regrettably those who died; first, they did not vaccinate; second, they came between 4 and 6 days after evolution of the picture, the big majority autotook medicine, they took antibiotics and already when it was not doing effect they ended in the hospital ?, he told on having concluded the starter of the National Week of Health.
