    Mexico City. - Since the beginning of the cold season until January 24, 2013 there were 40 deaths from hypothermia, carbon monoxide poisoning and burns, announced the Ministry of Health (SSA).

    For influenza, from 1 to 24 January 2013 were confirmed 209 cases, of which 86 were type B virus (41 percent), 102 influenza A (H3N2) (49 percent), 17 by influenza A (eight percent), one A (H1N1) and three more not achieved virus subtyping.

    In a statement, the agency said that of the 40 deaths occurred in Chihuahua identified 22, 10 in Sonora, Coahuila three, one in Durango, one in California, one in two in Tamaulipas and Zacatecas.
