Health officials unveiled last week were detected 21 new cases of influenza A H1N1 in Ciudad Juarez, but expect the patient registration to increase over the coming weeks due to the cold season.

The number of people infected with human influenza A H1N1, increased by 69 just last weekend, adding and 342, said Hector Puertas Rincones, director of Health Jurisdiction II Health Services.

407 cases of human influenza in Ju?rez

A person, carrier of influenza A H1N1, was killed in Ciudad Juarez, rising to five deaths here, reported State Health Services in the city of Chihuahua.
However, Hector Puertas Rincones, director of Health Jurisdiction II officially announced that it has not received the report at this border, and has not revealed the gender or age of the person.
