    Tuxtla Gutierrez, December 24 .- The federal government sent to Chiapas, the second batch of vaccines against influenza virus A (H1N1), which consists of 41 thousand doses, according to the Ministry of Health (SS) state.

    In a statement, explained that the population extends to vaccinate pregnant women in the second trimester of pregnancy, people with diabetes, obesity, HIV carriers and other risk groups.

    The State Health Secretariat received the second batch to be applied also to other health personnel, children six to 24 months of age and caring for children.

    It is said the unit, to cover these risk groups, so that will be used to orphanages, homes, home, nurseries, kindergartens, rehabilitation centers, among others.

    He recalled that the November 25 arrived in Chiapas the first 21 thousand 830 doses, which are applied to health personnel who serves in the areas of emergency and intensive care.

    With this second shipment 830 added 62 thousand doses of vaccine against human influenza viruses received by the Ministry of Health of Chiapas.

    The 10 health districts of the state serve as operational centers for vaccination, to have cold rooms to keep the temperature low dose is required in order to ensure its effectiveness.

    Tuxtla Gutierrez, Feb. 16 .- At least 90 thousand doses against influenza A (H1N1) and seasonal influenza will be applied in indigenous municipalities in Chiapas, in order to protect the population.

    The director of the National College of Technical Professional Education (CONALEP) in the state, Julian Dominguez Lopez Portillo, said take the necessary preventive measures in order to prevent an influenza pandemic.

    In a statement, said the application was launched yesterday in the municipalities of Tila, Copainala Oxchuc, Rayon, Ocozocoautla Mazapa de Madero, Venustiano Carranza, Las Margaritas, Amat, Bochil, Ixtacomit?n, Ocosingo, Palenque and San Cristobal de Las Casas.

    He explained that CONALEP Chiapas coordinate a human resource of 180 people, of which 154 will be vaccinated and 26 field coordinators, all operational staff, students and graduates of health areas.

    For its part, the state delegation of the National Commission for Development of Indigenous Peoples (CDI) said it had acquired influenza vaccines in the vaccination program to ethnic groups.
