Hog Farmers financial losses continue from influenza

A year of health emergency by the influenza A virus H1N1, the hog farmer sector in the region has failed to recover fully after a pandemic would cause a drop of over 60% in sales. Today still suffer consequences.
The local president of the Association of Pig Farmers, Jos? Javier Aguirre Gallardo said there are 500 producers in the state having severe financial problems.
"I spent a year of the flu and did not manage to recover everything that has been lost, and today, there are still more than 500 producers in the activity that could not change the losses," he said.
Now, the strategy to revive these entrepreneurs who lost their usefulness, is an intensive plan for recovery.
