More epidemiological alert for influenza A H1N1, Health reminds
The Director of Health Surveillance, Dr. Ivan Allende, recalled that the network services of the Ministry of Health, private sector and social security continues on alert for cases of influenza A H1N1.
"We have not raised an epidemiological alert, we keep working like we're in the mitigation phase" Allende said, explaining that due to the circulation of influenza A H1N1 in the world and the ongoing mobilization of people to other countries.
The practitioner explained that both cases of influenza, such as acute respiratory infections are reported.
"We continue the surveillance of influenza-like illness: anything that resembles the flu should be notified, as well as severe acute respiratory infections, which are pneumonia and severe respiratory Tables" said the director of Health Surveillance
