Mexico: 258 (229 H1N1) deaths and 6567 (5876 H1N1) cases
M?xico. - The Secretary of Health informed that from January 1 until March 15 of this year six thousand 567 cases were confirmed in Mexico by the different types of virus of influenza and 258 deaths.
The federal dependency added that of the whole of the notified cases five thousand 876 and 229 deaths were for influenza A (H1N1) because from the beginning of 2012 it predominates over the circulation of this infectious agent.
It specified that 43 per cent of the deaths for influenza were hospitalized from the fourth day of the beginning of the illness, also 84 per cent were not vaccinated and 73 per cent took a comorbidity as a mellitus diabetes, obesity and arterial hypertension.
