    An engineer with H1N1 flu died in the Medical Center at the Universidad Central del Este (UCE), a doctor and a nurse who attended are serious, while health authorities said the results of the laboratories that are confirm that virus. The Minister of Health, Dr. Altagracia Guzman Marcellin, said Tuesday that they are waiting for the scientific laboratory tests. In the meantime, the hospitals and clinics are crowded by patients with influenza.
    Dr. Rosa Elvia Robles, the infected medical, has internal three days in the Intensive Care Unit at ECU Medical Center, where he supplied mechanical breathing, after introducing congestion, difficulty breathing, high fever, cough, among other symptoms. She is responsible for the pharmacy of the hospital doctor Gonzalvo, where it has 30 years working there. She was admitted to the Medical Center East of La Romana, and on Tuesday of last week was moved to the UCE of this capital, where it receives assistance from a ventilator to breathe.

    The ECU Medical Center confirmed the death of patient admitted with H1N1

    The Center doctor of the unit Central del Este (UCE) yesterday confirmed the death of the patient which was entered in the Center since May 6 with a diagnosis of influenza a/H1N1. The death of Rosa Elvia Robles, a native of La Romana, took place on Tuesday, as a result of respiratory and kidney problems. The information was offered by the Department of communications of the Centre medical UCE, where it was explained that for 15 days the medical team of the Centre was provided to the patient all the attention it required. He recalled that the patient arrived at the Center in very precarious health conditions, kidney damage and respiratory failure.
