    Santo Domingo.-the President of the College doctor Dominicano (CMD), Amarilis Herrera, said Tuesday that the institution has instructed all its members to be alert to any suspected case of influenza a/H1N1.Herrera called on the authorities of the Ministry of health to not hide the actual numbers of deaths from this virus and assured the Guild that represents works with the Ministry to deal with any outbreak occurring in the current hurricane season.

    According to the President of the CMD, is almost certain that cases of death from this type of flu are more than the five officially revealed, since the country has a health under-registration in this regard. However, Herrera admitted that the only Guild aware of figures who on Monday gave the State entity.

    Amarilis Herrera recalled that they have happened related deaths this flu, that have not been reported to the health centres in communities far from the interior of the country.
