    The cases of children and adults with respiratory problems continue to increase in consultations and emergency clinics and hospitals in the country, the fruit of the movement now several types of influenza viruses including influenza, parainfluenza and adenovirus. To date, the national health care system has captured, fruit of the sentinel surveillance, 679 cases of severe acute respiratory infection (IRAG) and 19 suspicious deaths, a figure similar to that recorded in 2014. The system captures a death not recorded recently in La Romana with similar symptoms and the diagnosis of a patient with influenza A. Meanwhile, it is estimated that 10 percent of the cases of influenza could be presented in severe form, hence the authorities recommend that the population much hygiene such as prevention, not self-medicate symptoms and go to the doctor when this high fever or shortness of breath.
