Haiti registers first death due to A H1N1 virus

Second report published on Monday (8) by the Ministry of Public Health in Haiti, a man in the southeast of the country died by infection of the H1N1 virus. This is the first fatal case of the disease in this Caribbean island. according to the document, the victim was a 53-year-old man who died recently when he was transferred to a local hospital. Currently, Haiti has confirmed 11 cases of infection by the H1N1 virus. The Government calls on the relevant departments and the people to take preventive measures to prevent the epidemic from spreading.
