Apparently this group of academia does not believe the China numbers either. While they do graph China along with all the other countries they do not select them out for a special mention of excellence on coping with COVID-19.

When I try and follow the link I get a
Warning: you could be getting scammed!

      Suspected unsafe site: http://endcoronavirus.org/

This website could be trying to steal your information, install a virus or gain access to your device.

From BT (British Telecom) the ISP.

Is it a credible site? The fact they conspicuously omitted China makes me wonder if it is for real or just another US China bashing exercise. If it is for real why are they not posting in a journal or at biorxiv? N.B. this is a HTTP not HTTPS

A Google search for "http://endcoronavirus.org/" only gets 6 hits all from twipu.com or twugi.com.

I am not getting any warning. They appear to be this group: New England Complex Systems Institute Inc.

Never heard of them before but they seem to have many academia from prestigious universities: https://necsi.edu/faculty

Maybe another academic startup project since COVID-19 emergence....

I saw that too and went to New England Complex Systems Institute's site and used its internal search for endcoronavirus and got 'not found'. Their Wikipedia page does mention it but I did not chase down when, and by whom, the edit was made. May be nothing but I would exercise caution following any links from their page.

They appear to be a pro-China government group.

        https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/h...8-f815483260e8
Bar-Yam is a leader of the group EndCoronaVirus.org. It includes physicians, public health experts, business owners and citizens from across the commonwealth who wrote a letter to the governor. They argue we need to go beyond flattening the curve. Tougher measures, they argue, will crush the curve.
        ...
The group wants to scale up contact tracing, convert unused college dorms to isolation wards, and close the state's borders to all but essential travel.

"It sounds like this super extreme thing to do," said Bar-Yam. "[But] you have to a way to protect yourself from getting in new cases."

Chinese officials set up facilities where people with coronavirus and minor symptoms could get help without exposing their families. The group argues that the U.S. should do something similar.

"To isolate yourself at home, actually doesn’t make that much sense. Transmission is too high in families," said Bar-Yam....
I have no idea if the website is safe. I use a popular browser and had no problem. They do have a page soliciting volunteers that asks for email and phone. I'm not in favor of China-style government so would not even consider that but people should always be careful about giving out any contact information.

Regarding China being missing from the list, who knows? I think Taiwan did an excellent job without crushing human rights and nobody mentions them. Wonder why?

And for the record, it is not just the US who criticizes China's human rights record.

Missing Wuhan citizen journalist reappears after two months
        ...
Yet, in closing his video on Wednesday, Li quoted a line from a Confucian text about staying true to one’s beliefs. “The human heart is unpredictable, restless. Its affinity to what is right is small. Be discriminating, be uniform so that you may hold fast,” he said.

"To isolate yourself at home, actually doesn’t make that much sense. Transmission is too high in families," This is one thing China did which I am sure made a significant difference. Most other countries did not create isolation space for mild cases but expected them to self isolate at home which just caused spread to everyone else in the household. Few domestic houses are equipped to care for a COVID case having no PPE.

Homes in Chinese cities are very small by western standards. If the severity of the virus was still being determined (Wuhan lock down was 23 January) then it makes sense to separate out infectious family members
