    Why in so many pregnant women die from pneumonia?

    - This year in Almaty and in the whole country had increased incidence of ARI. Uncomplicated forms of SARS, as a rule, end favorably, duration of illness is 5-7 days. An analysis of complications from France (mainly pneumonia) develops when patients later turned to doctors.

    And in pregnant women because of decreased immunity likely complication is in the form of viral pneumonia. In September-December in the hospital and the hospitals of the city was hospitalized on 381 pregnant with SARS, 63 were detected pneumonia.

    Today 30 expectant mothers in Almaty are being treated for pneumonia, including 9 - in the intensive care unit. Despite adequate assistance, due to late treatment, two pregnant from a severe viral pneumonia died.
