    A three year old died Monday after contracting the H1N1 virus, which causes swine flu, in the Schneider Children's Medical Center in Petah Tikva. This is the first child to die from the disease in Israel. According to medical sources, the child was not vaccinated for the disease.



    Over the last week four women were hospitalized after contracting swine flu. Two of them are in severe condition. (Itay Gal)

      A 28-year-old woman died at the Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba after contracting swine flu. The woman arrived at the hospital in critical condition and after extended resuscitation attempts she was pronounced dead.
