Saudi Arabia - MEWA - 1 new H5N8 outbreak, Riyadh province - January 23, 2018
The ministry's daily summary of cases of H5N8 bird flu detected a one-time registration in the Kingdom during the past 24 hours in Wadi Al-Dawaser.
The ministry showed that the number of samples collected since the beginning of the spread amounted to (3749) samples collected from all regions of the Kingdom came the results of positive cases, including 110.
The Ministry also pointed out that the number of communications during the last 24 hours reached 13, while the number of inquiries reached (41) inquiries, and the total number of inquiries and notifications (2018). Awareness and survey campaigns continue in all regions of the Kingdom in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs .
