    Work is continuing to train staff on the basis of domestic and international centers of the United States, Egypt, Germany, Israel, Russia and other countries.

    The draft state program envisages the following activities: improving joint responsibility of citizens for their health, further improvement of national calendar of vaccination to the population, providing for the vaccination of children against pneumococcal disease, thereby reducing morbidity and mortality in children under 5 years old from pneumonia. Next - an effective system of laboratory control over food safety, environmental objects, in accordance with international standards. This will create the laboratory: the Republican reference and three specialized Control Food Safety, meet the requirements of the World Trade Organization (Almaty, East Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan region) and the laboratory to monitor the safety of tobacco products (Almaty).

    Be organized five zonal virological and inter-regional networks of specialized laboratories for the diagnosis of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (South-Kazakhstan region), anthrax, tularemia, brucellosis (Zhambyl region). The plans - the construction of the Central Reference Laboratory in Almaty on the diagnosis of particularly dangerous, including emerging infectious diseases in humans and animals. It will become a center of international research and training for the three ministries - health, agriculture, education and science.

    For the first time the program is planned to implement innovative projects, scheduled for modernization of the domestic production of medical immunobiological preparations with subsequent expansion of the list produced medicines, popular not only in our republic, but also in neighboring countries and abroad.

    In general, both the achievements and plans indicate that the Sanitary-Epidemiological Service of the Republic shall take all necessary measures to protect the health of Kazakhstani people.
